Exploring Water with Wanda Flipplefairy
For K - 1st grade classrooms
This program is offered to schools in our water service territory in March every year.
Invite the magical Wanda Flipplefairy to your classroom to teach your students where their water comes from, why it is so important to take care of it and how kids can help conserve this valuable resource.
Wanda Flipplefairy, from the Land of FlippleDippleDryDom where the citizens have carelessly wasted their water, has been sent by her king to investigate where water comes from and how the children of Snohomish County take care of their water. Together -- using color, engaging props and interactive activities -- Wanda and your students will find the answers that will help save Wanda's kingdom! Your students will also learn where their own water comes from in Snohomish County and how they can help their community protect and conserve water.
Each program requires 35 minutes and is designed for one classroom at a time. Schools may request to schedule two to five workshops in one school day.
Space is limited, so book today!
